Sunset Wayfarers 02- We Coexist Gooeyly
The exhibition series Sunset Wayfarers continues within private rooms in Berlin.
It is conceived as an ongoing experiment in proximity and exchange. Works by artist friends are shown alongside my own, forming temporary constellations that evolve through dialogue and spatial arrangement. Each edition grows slowly, as the pieces are moved, tested, and lived with until the space itself begins to breathe – turning into a shifting organism of things, gestures, and moods.
In this edition, togetherness takes on a different texture – a viscous, “gooey” state of coexistence. Sunset Wayfarers seeks ways of living and showing together – allowing works, rooms, and people to slowly merge.
"To me, it looked like a cake.
Do you remember that?"
"No. No, I don't remember that anymore.
But that's how it's done, right?
We pretend to be excited about it."
But that's how it's done, right?
We pretend to be excited about it."
Making mud cakes is a strategy that connects care with
chaos, play, habit and ritual.

One may ask: How to get use of the gravitational forces of the self spinning beyblade called “perceiving“? By this: the unspeakable in it’s violence gets sucked into the center. Another one may say: How to get sucked into the center of the self spinning beyblade called “being”? Your path needs to be remembered, finding marks, making steps traceable because to hide means to eventually lose. How to find marks? By retelling a story with your own words. How to make a step traceable? One may say by noise and stomping fiercely. What a waist of energy, nothing but to false a clue! Only after remembering and by considering the smallest available distance, softly asking the ground to be stood on.Nick Horter
